American fusion guitarist Al DiMeola studied in Berklee College of Music and in 1974 as a young extraordinaire talent, was called to be the guitarist for the legendary Chick Corea group called Return to Forever, in which he made three albums with and played till 1976.

Guitar virtuoso of the highest level mixes rock, jazz, latin and flamenco styles fluently and has respectable 25 solo albums in his backlog. His most famous albums are ”Elegant Gypsy”, ”Splendido Hotel” and ”Kiss My Axe”.

Al DiMeola has been collaborating for example with such artists as Jan Hammer, Jean-Luc Ponty, Stanley Clark and also formed a famous guitar trio with John McLaughlin and Paco De Lucia.
